The CLE will be presented by David M. Lehmann, PhD and Senior Toxicologist for Intertox in Raleigh, NC, with special thanks to Ward and Smith, P.A. for hosting this Zoom session.

This course provides a comprehensive, science-based foundation in alcohol toxicology for professionals involved in alcohol-related casework. Participants will examine the core components of alcohol toxicology: toxicokinetics — what the body does to alcohol — and toxicodynamics — what alcohol does to the body. These principles form the framework for understanding impairment, interpreting toxicology findings, and evaluating evidence in investigative and litigation contexts.
