This course provides a comprehensive, science-based foundation in alcohol toxicology for professionals involved in alcohol-related casework. Participants will examine the core components of alcohol toxicology: toxicokinetics — what the body does to alcohol — and toxicodynamics — what alcohol does to the body. These principles form the framework for understanding impairment, interpreting toxicology findings, and evaluating evidence in investigative and litigation contexts.
